Honestly, it's been great so far. Everyone on the team is really nice and genuinely smart and dedicated — I was pleasantly surprised. The system is way more complex than I expected which is exciting.

I'm working on short-form video content — think YouTube Reels but for Paramount — and I'm already getting to apply a lot of what I learned at Microsoft. My skip-level Adam actually told me I was already asking the right questions, which felt good to hear in week one.

There's also a reorg happening where I'll likely become the tech lead of a small team in the coming weeks. More on that soon.

솔직히 진짜 좋아. 팀 사람들이 다 좋고 확실히 똑똑해서 좀 놀랐음. 시스템이 생각보다 훨씬 복잡한데 오히려 그게 재밌어.

숏폼 영상 쪽 일하고 있어 — YouTube Reels 같은 건데 파라마운트 버전. 마소에서 배운 거 벌써 꽤 써먹고 있음. 스킵 레벨인 Adam이 첫 주인데 벌써 좋은 질문 하고 있다고 해줘서 기분 좋았어.

조직 개편 중이라 곧 작은 팀 테크 리드 맡을 것 같아. 그건 좀 더 되면 알려줄게.

After an overwhelming week of apartment hunting, I locked in a 2-bedroom 2-bathroom in Hollywood right next to the Paramount lot. In-unit washer/dryer, AC, a nice kitchen, and it's spacious. Really happy with it.

I've been driving around picking up furniture off Facebook Marketplace this weekend, slowly making it feel like home.

진짜 정신없이 집 보러 다니다가 파라마운트 바로 옆 할리우드에 투베드 투바스 겟. 세탁기 건조기 빌트인이고 에어컨에 주방도 넓어. 진짜 맘에 듦.

주말에 Facebook Marketplace에서 가구 줍줍하면서 조금씩 꾸미는 중.

I'm really enjoying it here. One thing I love is how easy it is to be healthy — the food quality is insane and so diverse. Good Thai food, great salads, you name it. Portions are big too so I can usually split meals into two which is a nice bonus.

I joined Equinox for a free trial month and it's literally 2-3 minutes from everywhere I go. Jet lag has me up at 3AM so I've been hitting the gym at 4:30 and heading into work early — honestly not the worst routine.

I went to Los Feliz this weekend and fell in love with the neighborhood. Super quaint, charming, great coffee shops. Actively trying to convince Justin to move there.

여기 진짜 좋아. 제일 좋은 건 건강하게 먹기가 너무 쉬움. 맛집 퀄리티가 미쳤고 종류도 다양함. 태국 음식, 샐러드, 다 있어. 양도 많아서 보통 두 끼로 나눠 먹음.

Equinox 프리 트라이얼 한 달 끊었는데 어디서든 2-3분 거리. 시차 때문에 새벽 3시에 깨서 4시 반에 헬스 가고 일찍 출근하는 중인데 솔직히 루틴 나쁘지 않음.

주말에 Los Feliz 갔다가 완전 반함. 아기자기하고 분위기 좋고 카페도 예쁨. Justin한테 여기로 이사 오라고 설득하는 중.

Honestly? Really happy I made this move. The career, the weather, the energy here — it all feels right. LA is huge and it can feel a little daunting being here on my own, but I'm settling in and excited for what's ahead.

The goal over the next 90 days is to be fully ramped up and actively contributing at work, and to really make this city feel like mine.

솔직히? 진짜 잘 왔다 싶음. 커리어, 날씨, 여기 에너지 — 다 맞는 느낌. LA가 크고 혼자라 좀 막막할 때도 있는데 적응하고 있고 앞으로가 기대돼.

앞으로 90일 목표는 완전히 온보딩 끝내고 회사에서 제대로 기여하기. 그리고 이 도시 내 거 만들기.
